The real estate data for March 2018 is now available for your use and enjoyment.
The latest Sacramento real estate sales data is now available. All the three counties (Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado), whose data I provide, are still in a seller’s market.
The selling price compared to the original asking price, before any price reductions, is sitting at 99% except for El Dorado County which is hovering at 96%. The average and median selling price is appreciating in all three markets. The asking prices as well have increased save Placer County which decreased compared to last month, however, an increase compared to this same month last year.
Homes are beginning to sell faster and are remaining on the market fewer days when compared to last month. Not a surprise, we are entering the prime buying season.
Inventory of available homes is up from last month and static when compared to last year’s March data. If last year’s trend data is an indication of future market activity, then we should see a considerable increase in inventory from now until the apex in September.
If you are considering selling your home, you should begin the market-ready process, give me a call, and let’s proceed towards fulfillment.
